Gratitude is My Anchor

Life Update + A New Monday Blog Flow

I know I said I’d be blogging three times a week… but let’s be real—between motherhood, grad school, spiritual work, and trying to feed myself more than just coffee and vibes, that’s not the season I’m in. So here’s the new rhythm: blogs will drop every Monday—heartfelt, honest, and right on time.

Now let’s talk about what’s been keeping me grounded: gratitude.

This isn’t just a cute list I make at the end of the day. This has become my practice of presence. My anchor. My breath when things feel too loud or too fast. Even in the swirl of overwhelm, gratitude brings me back.

I’ve been tracking the smallest things:

Angel numbers guiding my steps.

A neighbor opening windows so my laundry wouldn’t smell like paint.

Free coffee on days I needed a little extra love.

Compliments that hit like Spirit saying, “keep going.”

Feathers. Bees. Yellow flowers for my grandmother.

My daughter thriving, even when I feel like I’m barely holding it together.

It’s the noticing that’s healing me. Gratitude doesn’t ask me to be perfect, just present.

Life update? Let’s talk magic.

Last month, Aubrey turned 10. Ten. Double digits. My baby girl who I’ve raised by myself, through everything, is blossoming before my eyes—and I’m learning how to hold her as she grows, without holding her back.

And this weekend… I’m heading out for a kid-free trip to San Diego!

But this isn’t just any getaway—it’s ritual in motion.

I’ll be joining my dear friend Raquel for her New Moon circle, and together we’ll be leading a Road Opener ritual for her community. I’m bringing my Road Opener candles, my oils, my prayers… and my full heart. I’m so excited to be in sacred space, to share what I’ve been cultivating, and to open the way with women I’ve never met but already feel spiritually connected to.

And while I’m there, I’m also giving myself permission to explore. To be. To let San Diego show me something I didn’t know I needed. A walk by the water. A good meal. A fresh perspective.

This trip is part healing, part service, part joy. I can feel Spirit smiling already.

So if you’ve been waiting for a sign to slow down, breathe, and check in with your own soul—this is it. I’ll be here every Monday, showing up messy, grateful, and real.

Until next week,

Amalia

Gratitude is the ritual. Presence is the prayer. The way is opening.
